Decisions of the faculty committee are final, and there is no appeal in the college beyond that body. Appeals at other times are heard strictly at the discretion of the associate dean of LAS Student Academic Affairs. Personal interviews with the student are generally not available, but may be initiated by the committee or the associate dean under highly unusual circumstances. Become familiar with current valid driver's licenses and IDs. Compare the questioned ID with a standard, like your own ID. Be suspicious if it looks like the card was altered or tampered with, if it is discolored, or if any of the letters, logos, or photos are poorly applied or partially missing. Do not accept IDs you're unfamiliar with. See Publication 302, Wisconsin Alcohol Beverage and Tobacco Laws for Retailers, for ID checking guidelines. (Sec. 125.085, Wis. Stats.)
For much of college football history, teams could play to a tie. Thankfully for the record books and for providing players and fans with an added level of drama, we now have overtime rules in place to determine a winner.
The 1995-96 bowl season saw the introduction of overtime rules to postseason games, with the first overtime game being the 1995 Las Vegas Bowl. Toledo scored a field goal during the first possession of overtime and notched a 40-37 win over Nevada.
